We are always busy in everything that we do. Because of this, we often neglect the habit of sleeping. Call center agents would event go 12 hours of work just to get that amount every 15 and 30 of the month. Bars are scattered in the city and customers stay up until 5 am in the morning. This is what is going on right now.

The are plenty of sickness associated with less sleep and these are liver cancer, high blood pressure, kidney malfunction and aging. A person who only sleep 3 to 5 hours a day would look older than people who sleep more than 7 hours a day. It is very important that we take sleeping seriously. Ideally 7 to 8 hours of sleep would do the trick in slowing the aging process of the body. In sleeping, our organs get the rest that they deserve after a had days work. It is also recommended that a person be asleep by 10 pm. This is because our liver start the self repair process by 11 pm up to 3 am. If one is still awake by these hours, he or she might get liver problems in the near future.

The is no fountain of youth but only a sleep will make you stay young and vibrant and fresh looking.

Healthy Living, Healthy Diet

In my 33 years of living, I can say that I lived a healthy lifestyle. I just completed my executive checkup at the hospital. I was examined by several physicians with masters in their own field. From the Ultrasound to the blood screening all were okay. The physician asked me about my lifestyle about smoking and drinking. I told him I used to smoke and drink but I quit smoking and drinking because I know the effects of these bad vices. Foods, I am fond of eating fatty foods but the result in my liver screening was also in good shape. My lungs were in the right condition and blood sugar was fine.

I remembered before in 2007 when I used to stay up late due to writing. It resulted to high blood pressure and I noticed that skin aging was fast on me. I starved myself from sleeping since writing was so demanding. Later, I realized that I was not in the right track and I was abusing my health. I was afraid to visit the physician to seek medical attention because I was afraid of the outcome of the check up. My partner was persistent in telling me that I need medical attention. You won’t believe I was underweight at that time.

Change really must start from within. So I change all that by eating the right foods and get enough sleep. Smoking and drinking of any alcoholic beverages were stopped. I can say that fiber rich diet really makes wonder on me. Fruits and vegetables are the foods that must be eaten in order to stay healthy and fit. I thought having a healthy living was hard but I was wrong. It takes guts and perseverance in order to do these things just to stay healthy and fit. It was a choice that I took and I am glad that I made the right move.

Liver problems is one of the leading causes of death right now. In the latest medical report, 3 out of 10 people  suffer from liver related illnesses and that is still growing as we speak. If not given a complete attention, we might get health problems later on. In order to have a healthy liver, one must do the following:
  • Sleep early. It is advisable that we should be asleep by 10 pm or earlier.
  • Avoid drinking hard liquors that may cause liver problems.
  • Never use any beauty products that you have an allergic reaction. Anything that we put on to our skin will also go to our liver.
  • Drink plenty of fruit juices. Freshly extracted juices are much recommended.
  • Avoiding eating fatty and oily foods.
  • Do not smoke.
  • Exercise regularly. It is advisable that we do exercise 15 to 20 minutes a day just to stay fit and healthy.
These are easy things to do and can be really rewarding to our body. Having a healthy liver will also extends our life. Value life and stay healthy always.
