IMPETIGO

This is a highly contagious infection of the skin, most often seen in children. it comes about when germs from an established impetigo lesion, either elsewhere on the body of from another sufferer, invade the outer skin layer. These bacteria usually staphylococci or streptococci, enter via small crack or cut, causing itchy, scabby lesions on the face and elsewhere.

To prevent impetigo here are the things that you should do:

1. try to avoid contact with people who are already infected by impetigo.
2. Keep your skin always clean and dry.
3 Treat small cuts and grazes are soon as they occur.
4. If you noticed any thing similar to the above-mentioned, it is advised to visit a doctor for immediate medical treatment.
